Primetals Technologies and Kappa cooperate on dedusting systems for the iron and steel industry
Primetals Technologies and Kappa Filter Systems will cooperate in the future in the marketing and sale of dedusting systems for the iron and steel industry as well as in their further development and research.
The cooperation agreement has an initial term of five years. Primetals Technologies is a company that specializes in plant engineering for the metal industry and is based in London.
At the heart of the future jointly offered systems is the internationally patented Zeron® large mesh filter system developed by Kappa.
Thanks to the solid concrete panel design, all functional areas can be compactly integrated into one filter building for the first time - from pre-separation to the chimney. This results in an optimum air flow without turbulence and swirls with a low overall resistance. The energy requirement is significantly reduced compared to conventional systems. Dust emissions are almost completely eliminated and noise pollution is significantly reduced.
The design increases local added value, reduces logistics costs and shortens assembly times. The modular design facilitates future expansions.

The modular design enables space-saving and economical implementation of volume flows of several million cubic meters per hour.
