Clean workplaces: Zero emissions

Clean, bright and future-proof workplaces: Kappa x Primatech = Zero Emissions

Primatech Metallverarbeitung GmbH is a specialist in the customized production of assembly modules and welded components. Since its foundation in 2006, the company has grown steadily. Most recently to such an extent that the company site, including production at the company headquarters in St. Marienkirchen, became too small. Primatech invested in an ultra-modern new building. And also in advanced emission protection from Kappa.

For Primatech, a healthy future starts at the workplace

In addition to laser cutting, bending and powder coating, welding is a key process at Primatech. At numerous workstations and at the welding robot workstations, employees in the welding area work with the utmost precision in shifts to ensure that production orders are completed on time. Employees in production are exposed to the hazardous by-products of welding fumes and fine dust generated during cutting and welding throughout their working hours. The ultra-modern and future-proof hall air purification system protects against this.

Kappa x Primatech = Zero Emissions

The video shows the hall air cleaning system Kappa A.I.R. in full operation. The fine dust filter Kappa Mykron M112 fine dust filter is at the heart of the hall air purification concept. It filters the smoke and fine dust emissions almost completely out of the exhaust air. Compared to the state of the art, it also saves 30% electricity. The emissions in the welding area are discharged from the entire hall via ceiling panels and a sophisticated pipe network on the hall ceiling, which prevents the usual smoke in the hall. The highly purified air is returned to the work area draught-free via the individually adapted Kappa diffusers. This means that room heat is not lost during the heating period, resulting in savings on heating costs. In summer mode, 100% of the cleaned exhaust air is extracted. In addition to the efficient extraction system in the cutting area, Primatech also installed a new powder coating system. The entire machine park is now state of the art.

Thanks to the implemented air concept, the numerous production workstations no longer pose a material hazard. The employees are excellently protected and no emissions are released into the neighboring offices or the environment. Primatech also saves energy costs and consequently a massive amount of CO2. Word has spread about this concentrated load of “zero emissions” and “zero waste of energy”: Johann Kasper, founder and CEO of Primatech, puts it in a nutshell when he explains that Primatech no longer needs job advertisements to recruit skilled workers such as welding technologists for its high-tech production. Primatech is an absolute model company in this respect.
